Let's have some fun with this already!!!!

THERE IS YOUR TROUBLE!!!!
Who could resist that face?
She looks so innocent!
She is good!!!
Somehow we can't seem to get enough of her!

When you eat sugar you crave more sugar. Sugar spikes your blood sugar, then drops it fast. So you have to have more.

...I can love you better, because I found out how to deal with this 'angel face'.
I make it fun, because life is to be enjoyed!

Emilee's Story

What a beautiful lady!
This is my older sister, Emilee.
She did this program for about a month in the weight loss phase. Her goal was 10 pounds, but that came too fast and too easy so she ended up losing 15 pounds.

STEP 1--GET DIRECTION FOR YOUR DESTINATION

When Alice asked the Cheshire Cat which direction he thought she should go,
he responded,"That depends on where you want to get to?"
Alice said, "It really doesn't matter...."
To which the Cheshire Cat replied," Then it really doesn't matter which way you go."
I believe many of us are living our lives just doing the best we can, trying to do what is right. But when we think about it...Do we know where we are headed? Our actions today determine where we will end up tomorrow. So I'll ask you, just like the Cheshire Cat,
What is your destination??
One of my favorite things to do is set goals.
It's the season. The older I get the more I realize life is too short, and too precious to not live to the fullest!
Assignment #1--How do you want to live?
Where do you see yourself, how do you see yourself in 1, 3, 5 years?
Get a journal and write it down. Check back next week for assignment #2.

Rulon's story

This is my dad, Rulon.

Doesn't his smile just make you want to smile back.
I love my dad to pieces. He is the kindness, most gentle man I know.
My dad grew up on a dairy farm. He worked hard growing up doing a lot of physical labor to help the family put food on the table.
He worked hard in college and became a dentist. Dentist sit. My dad loves ice cream (did I mention he grew up on a diary farm). He kept a small piece of land to farm and play around with while I was growing up. And that kept him in pretty good health.
My dad carries his extra weight in the most dangerous place possible, his middle. His father died of a heart attack at the young age of 63. My dad is 63. My dad inherited that same heart. Doctors have told him for years if he didn't lose weight he was going to have a heart attack. Several years ago he developed type 2 diabetes from being overweight. He has been on blood pressure medicine for as long as I can remember.
After I had success with this program I introduced it to my dad. He was off all his blood pressure medication and medication for diabetes within two weeks. Now the only pills he takes are vitamins. The real shocker to my mom and his children was that he stuck to it!
I spent Thanksgiving with him this year. He had a great feast. But the very next day he weighed in and didn't like what the scale said so he got on the treadmill and passed on the leftovers. I talked to my mom two days later and she said the scale was back down to where he wanted it to be.
I'm so grateful because I know this has added a few more years for me to enjoy my father and he is going to enjoy them now because he's energy is back, he sleeps at night and he is self motivated. He's on the journey to optimal health!

BEFORE

AFTER-TWO MONTHS
OFF BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION AFTER TWO WEEKS
BLOOD SUGAR IS LEVEL EVEN WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES

LOVE YA, DAD!
